The CSG tiling methodology places firm emphasis on planning, preparation and attention to detail before the first tile is even laid. By investing the time to consider every aspect of the job in detail and ensure every surface is perfectly prepared, the process of tile laying can progress smoothly, efficiently and without ever having to compromise the finish in order to “get the job done”.
This is key to the exceptional track record CSG Ceramic Tiling has achieved finishing projects on time, within budget and to the very highest standards of finish.
Tiling is not an isolated activity; it is just one part of a whole development or refurbishment scheme. We recognise that by forward planning and considering every aspect of a project (rather than just the bit we are working on) we can better contribute to the overall success of a project.
Chris Gillibrand started his career working with his father, Allan Gillibrand, who runs a domestic and commercial building company with a strong reputation throughout the Sudbury area.
Rather than being “good” at a wide range of general building disciplines, Chris has strived instead to become a “master” of just one. He has focused purely on tiling since 1999, regarding it as one of the few true crafts left in the building trade, and is now held in very high regard by others in the building trade.
Bradley de Jager joined CSG Ceramic Tiling on an apprenticeship scheme in 2014, and has since become a full time member of the team. In addition to the skills learned at college, Bradley has benefitted from Chris’s enthusiasm for passing on his knowledge and methods.
